About Our Church

About the Founder

The Late Reverend Dr. P. Dawson (affectionately known as Dr. P.) was the Founder and Pastor of Greater Grace Tabernacle where the word of God is preached with simplicity and clarity.  Dr. P. presented a unique style of ministering Healing and Deliverance.  In addition to pastoring she wrote several books (How to Stay Saved, Your Mouth Says Who You Are, Chasing the Paper, and Tongue Talking, What’s It Really About).  She led untold numbers of sinners to salvation through Jesus Christ.  She was used to help others receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost, miracles of healing, deliverance and prosperity, and pointing all to the power of the resurrected Jesus Christ.  Her desire was to live so that she could hear the words, “Well, done, My Good and Faithful Servant.”

About the Pastor Dr. D.

Rev. Dr. Dawnay Dawson (Dr. D) is a daughter of the late Dr. P. Dawson the Founder of Greater Grace Tabernacle and the Voice of God Ministries.  Dr. D. accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at a young age and began a life-style of prayer and the study of God’s word.  Under the leadership of Dr. P she has become a charismatic preacher and teacher of the Gospel message to benefit the Body of Christ in their spiritual growth.

A graduate of Oral Roberts University she also holds advance degrees from the Citadel (The Military College of South Carolina) and a doctorate from the University of South Carolina. Presently she is the principal of Grace Junior Academy and is the co-author of Tongue Talking What’s it really about?

As the Pastor of Greater Grace Tabernacle, Dr. D. now continues in our mission to win souls and train disciples for the Kingdom of God.  According to Mark 16:17b "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils… they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” which is our battle cry.

Mission

To Win Souls

To Train  Disciples for the Kingdom of God

Covering the world with the Word

According to Mark 16:17b and 18d, "And these signs shall follow them that believe;  In my name shall they cast out devils ... they shall lay hands on the sick , and they shall recover" is our battle cry. We are God's witness (Acts 1:8) and His believers in the earth.  The Ministry proclaims God's Word in its preaching and teaching: Emphasizing Deliverance and Healing, Prayer, Prosperity (God's way), and Faith.
